robin photoRobin Gadsden-Dupree is a native New Yorker, and comes from a family of strong community activists. Her career has been devoted to working with children and families by reaffirming their strengths, values, culture and community. Since 1997, Robin has worked in the Early Childhood profession as a pre-school teacher, Day Care Director, Infant/Toddler family home provider, college campus child care Director, college adjunct professor, Head Start home-visitor and Head Start Director.

Robin has an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and Higher Educational Leadership and holds B.S and M.S. degrees in Early Childhood Education. She is a certified teacher in nursery and K-6 in New York and Tennessee. Robin holds a certification in the Program for Infant Toddler Caregivers, Module IV-Families and Culture. She also served as a Learning Coach for Story Quest, supporting emerging language and literacy for infants and toddlers, and is currently a cadre trainer and SPARC trainer for the National Head Start Family Literacy Center.

Robin focuses on parent and community partnerships, Program Governance issues, ERSEA, family partnerships, parent involvement, delegate and grantee agency relationships, Early Head Start, early literacy, and family literacy. Robin also has a special interest in working with programs on Re-Energizing the Parent Committee. Robin has worked with human service organizations and preschool program across the country. In addition, she provided training and technical support on working with families to Step-by-Step Preschool programs in South Africa.
