    The new Head Start Act included language mandating the use of a Risk Based Assessment Approach as part of Federal monitoring. In addition, the Fiscal Protocol must be reviewed and revised annually to ensure accurate measurement of grant compliance with applicable fiscal laws and regulations. Preparing for a Fiscal Onsite Monitoring Review will teach you how to prepare for and comply with the requirements of the 2010 Head Start Fiscal Protocol. You’ll also take part in discussions about governance and internal controls, use of Head Start grant funds, compensation, grantee property, financial reports, and non-Federal share.
